MID 2014 MACBOOK PRO 15 SPECS PORTABLE
TLDR I am seeking helpful advice from all, on eGPUs that can further power my Macbook so I can edit videos/3d model and game with better fps which is preferably affordable, portable and doesn't compromise on speed/power.It sounds like you need some info on whether or not dual 4k resolution monitors 60hz is supported with your MacBook Pro. The problem is that despite all the recommendations on there, this is my first time looking into eGPUs and I'm not sure which to choose OR if there's a more effective alternative to eGPUs. So I tried looking for something smaller and found the existence of mini-eGPUs on this site here. This vid by MaxTech got me intrigued and thinking that it could be a solution to my problems but then I realised he was referencing the 2020 Macbook Pro which is way out of my budget right now.Īpart from that, eGPUs (like the Razer Core v2) look really bulky and would take up 25% of my desk space. My friends have suggested I just build a PC, but I move around often and need something portable which is how I stumbled into eGPUs. It runs Photoshop and Illustrator at the same time perfectly, which has been sufficient for my design work so far :) However, I also want to edit videos on Premiere, experiment 3d modelling (Blender/Autodesk Maya) and play games with better graphics and fps but my laptop doesn't have the juice for it. Hey guys! I am currently using a 15" Macbook Pro, Mid-2014 edition. For short links use the reddit markup (link) If your post isn't visible it's probably because of an short/affiliate Link.
